DAY 2 & 3
AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Day 2: Early morning, we depart After breakfast, we check out and drive to Amboseli National Park with a game drive en route to the Lodge. Check-in in time for lunch at Amboseli Tawi Lodge. After lunch rest and relax at the lodge, we will have our evening game drive at 1600hrs. Amboseli National Park is in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro's snowy peaks, standing at 5,895 meters. This park's 1800-plus elephants have been recorded and studied since the 1970s by Cynthia Moss's legendary Elephant Trust. Witness the incredible variety of wildlife communing as one here, including giraffes, zebra, Cape buffalo, cheetahs, and hundreds of indigenous bird species. Overnight at Tawi Lodge or Similar. Day 3: Our day begins at 0600hrs with an early game drive, then breakfast at the lodge; followed by a mid-morning excursion to the local Masai village. Once there we will learn more about their daily lives and may offer donations of supplies to the only primary school in that area. Return to the lodge for buffet lunch, followed by a late evening game drive, then dinner at 1845 hrs. Overnight at Tawi lodge or Similar.Full-board accommodation
DAY 4 & 5
MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE.
Day 4: We depart after breakfast for the local airstrip for a scheduled flight, exiting Amboseli to the most famous safari park, the Masai Mara Game Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at Olonana Lodge. We spend one more day witnessing two million wildebeest and zebra searching out the best grasslands for grazing following the rains and risking survival from predators, including the cunning crocodile. Our trip here is timed to witness the Great Migration from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara during its peak. The homeland of the Masai tribe, the Mara is known for its stunning photographic backdrops. Overnight at Olonana Lodge or Similar. Full-board accommodation.

Day 5: We start early in the Mara with a 0615hrs game drive, the best time to see the big cats on the prowl NO WONDER the BBC Wildlife Channel's Big Cat Diary is filmed here! Time will be provided during the day for your leisure and to fully enjoy the lodge and adjoining grounds before our evening game drive.

DAY 06
NAIROBI
After breakfast at the lodge, we check out with a game drive enroute to the airstrip for scheduled flight back to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch. Lunch at Carnivore Restaurant included in the safari fee. After lunch, a city tour to Bomas of Kenya before heading to Eric’s home for dinner. Later transfer to Ole Sereni Hotel for overnight stay. Overnight at Ole Sereni Hotel or Similar on Bed and Breakfast. Transit time 1 hour.
DAY 07
KIGALI “THE LAND OF A THOUSAND HILLS”
Early morning after breakfast we check out and head to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for our schedule flight to Rwanda. DAY 8
GOLDEN MONKEY TREKKING & DIAN FOSSEY LEGACY EXPERIENCE
After breakfast, depart for Volcanoes National Park headquarters for a briefing by expert rangers before embarking on a Golden Monkey trekking experience The trek leads through bamboo forests alive with movement and birdsong. Soon, you encounter the playful golden monkeys — energetic, curious, and uniquely photogenic. Observing their interactions up close is both exhilarating and charming, offering a lighter yet equally memorable primate experience Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, visit the Dian Fossey Museum & Research Centre, an immersive tribute to the legendary primatologist whose work forever changed gorilla conservation. Through exhibits, stories, and archival material, gain insight into her extraordinary legacy and Rwanda’s ongoing commitment to protecting its natural heritage. Evening at leisure, with time to enjoy sundowners overlooking the volcanoes or a fireside dinner beneath the stars.

MOUNTAIN GORILLA TREKKING & IBY’IWACU CULTURAL ENCOUNTER
Today delivers one of the most exclusive wildlife encounters on the planet. After an early gourmet breakfast, transfer to Volcanoes National Park headquarters for registration and final briefing. You are assigned to a specific gorilla family, with strict limitations ensuring conservation, privacy, and exclusivity in hushed reverence, you come face to face with a mountain gorilla family. Watching them nurture their young, feed, play, and rest in their natural environment is profoundly moving. The commanding presence of the silverback, immense yet gentle, leaves an indelible impression. You spend one unforgettable hour in their world — a privilege granted to very few, and an encounter that forever changes perspective. After the trek, return to the lodge for rest and lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village, where you are welcomed by local hosts for authentic cultural immersion. FAREWELL TO THE VIRUNGAS – DEPARTURE
After a relaxed breakfast with final views of the Virunga Volcanoes, bid farewell to Kinigi and begin your private transfer back to Kigali International Airport. Arrive in time for your onward flight, assisted with departure formalities. You leave Rwanda enriched by moments of extraordinary beauty, profound connection, and the quiet luxury of experiences in the world will ever know.
